Past Event:
"Harvest for Hope" Fashion Show and Dinner, 2001

Over 600 people attended the October 24, 2001 "Harvest for Hope" Fashion Show and Dinner at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ, to raise money to support research to cure diabetes.  The event, which raised $135,000, was highlighted by a video produced by the Foundation entitled "What a Cure Means to Me" and a stunning fashion show by Saks Fifth Avenue featuring 18 of our youngsters as models.

The evening was a great success, joining family and friends in a special tribute to the efforts of FDR to fund important research.  Thanks to co-chairs Susie Blau, Nurit Gans and Sue Rapp and their entire committee.

"Standing Room Only" as our guests socialize and look over the raffle prizes.

Seven-year old Maria Hauser opened the dinner with an inspiring rendition of "God Bless America"
